Caring for Pets, Supporting Their People

At Bridgemill Animal Hospital, we know that being a pet parent comes with lots of questions—and we’re always happy to answer them. Below you’ll find some of the most common things clients ask us before their visit. If you don’t see your question here, just give us a call. We love to talk with our clients and hear their stories.

What type of pets do you see?

We care exclusively for dogs and cats. This focus allows us to provide the most personalized and attentive care possible for your companion animals.

How can I book an appointment?

You can schedule by calling (803) 590-7050, using our online booking tool, or submitting a form request. For urgent, same-day concerns, please call so we can reserve a spot as soon as possible.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We encourage scheduling in advance so your pet receives the time and attention they deserve. However, if your pet needs urgent care, we’ll do our best to fit you in the same day.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring any medical or vaccination records you have, along with a list of your pet’s current medications and any questions you’d like to discuss with the doctor.

How often should my pet have a checkup?

We recommend annual exams for most adult pets and more frequent visits for seniors or those with chronic conditions. Preventive care helps us catch potential issues early and keep your pet feeling their best.

What makes Bridgemill Animal Hospital different?

We’re an independently owned hospital that focuses on compassionate, service-oriented care. We take the time to listen, explain, and tailor every recommendation to your pet and your family’s needs. Our clean, calm environment and friendly team make each visit a positive experience.

Do you offer emergency services?

We provide same-day urgent care for our clients during business hours. If your pet’s situation is life-threatening or occurs after hours, we’ll help direct you to the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital.
