Meet Our Veterinarian in Fort Mill
Dr. Janelle Brown
Dr. Brown grew up in Charlotte in a family that adores animals. From her earliest years, she has cared for numerous pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, reptiles, horses, and even a mockingbird named Tequila! She has worked in the veterinary field since high school, starting as a veterinary assistant. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in biology, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from NC State, and she has been in private practice for two decades. Dr. Brown’s dream has always been to open her own practice, and after establishing a successful relief practice to assist veterinarians throughout the Carolinas, Dr. Brown is thrilled to realize her dream and open Bridgemill Animal Hospital in a community that she loves, and where she and her family have lived for the past twenty years. Dr. Brown and her husband, fellow veterinarian Dr. Brad Brown, live in South Charlotte with their three children and their family pets, including a snake, a guinea pig, a cat, and Ollie the Havanese.
